Kathy Bowlen is a recognized Australian journalist and former senior television presenter with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). She graduated with a degree in Media and Communications from Swinburne University of Technology, where her passion for journalism was firmly established. Bowlen began her media career at Melbourne’s 3AW radio station before transitioning to television journalism. Bowlen anchored the Victorian edition of Stateline, a current affairs program that aired on Friday evenings, and served as a presenter for ABC TV News for more than ten years.
