Acting Career

Lonsdale began his acting journey in 2007 with a small dancing role in the film Razzle Dazzle: A Journey into Dance. He gained wider recognition in 2012 when he joined the cast of the popular ABC series Dance Academy as Oliver Lloyd. His character became a regular during the show’s third season, helping him to develop a larger fan base both in Australia and internationally.

Expanding into American film, Lonsdale appeared in several movies including Dance Academy: The Movie (2017), Like.Share.Follow. (2017), and Love, Simon (2018), in which he played the role of Bram Greenfeld. His performance in Love, Simon received critical acclaim, further establishing him as a rising star in Hollywood.

Television Appearances and MTV Tenure

Before making his mark in film, Lonsdale worked as a video jockey (VJ) for MTV Australia for over two years.
