Louise Redknapp is a British singer, songwriter, and media personality who was married to retired professional footballer and sports commentator Jamie Redknapp. Louise Redknapp was born Louise Elizabeth Nurding on November 4, 1974, in London, England. When she was eleven, Louise joined the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London. In late 1995, Louise signed a record deal with First Avenue management and EMI Records. Louise Nurding became professionally known simply as "Louise"; her debut solo single was a ballad entitled "Light of My Life” and reached number eight on the UK charts. By 1998, Louise’s second album had gone Platinum and she was on the cover of magazines such as GQ and Smash Hits.

The couple has two children, Charles William Redknapp, born July of 2004, and Beau Henry Redknapp, born in 2008. The family lived in Oschott, Surrey until 2017 when, after nearly twenty years of marriage, they were divorced.
