Kirk Cameron is an American actor who was born in the year 1970. He played Mike Seaver at ABC sitcom called Growing Pains, and he had other film and appearances when he was still growing up in the year 1990s and 1980s. He appeared in many television shows and the films such as Like Father Like Son and in Listen To Me. In the 2000s, he was Cameron Buck Williams in the movie Left Behind Film series, and he was Caleb Holt in 2008 drama film called Fireproof.

Kirk Cameron is married to Chelsea Noble, and they got married in the year 1991. They have six children already, but 4 of these children are adopted while only two are their biological children, Olivia born in the year 2001 and James born in the year 2003. The children that were adopted are Jack(born 1996), Isabella(born 1997), Anna (born 1998) and Luke (born 2000). There is no record of having any divorce for the couple. While growing up, Kirk Cameron was atheist according to his biography. He became a born-again Christian when he was 17 years old.

Cameron is also Evangelical Christian, and he preaches with Ray Comfort in the Evangelical movie ministry called The Way of the Master. He and his wife co-founded The Firefly Foundation which runs a camp which offers terminally ill children and their families a week of free vacation at their facility.

Cameron was born in the city of Panorama in California in the suburb of the city of Los Angeles. His mother is Barbara who was a stay at home mother, and his father is Robert Cameron who worked as a schoolteacher. He has sisters Bridgette, Candace and Melissa. He attended the school featured on the set of the movie Growing Pains, and he did not go to public school. He finished high school when he was 17 years old and held high honors.

Cameron started to act when he was nine years old on the recommendation of a friend, and the first role he held was in the advertisement of the Breakfast cereal Golden Grahams. Four years later, his starring role started when he was 13 years old, and it was in the television series called Two Marriages. At that age, he was on many television films and shows. He became well known in 1985 when he played the role of Mike Seaver on the ABC television show Growing Pains. In this series, he was the teenager who ended up becoming the boyfriend of a girl called Kate MacDonald, it was played by Chelsea Noble who later became his wife in real life, Kirk was 20 at the time, and Chelsea was 26, they wed in Cheektowaga, New York on July 21, 1991.

He was a heartthrob teen in the 1980s and he appeared on the cover of many teen magazines and including Teen Beat, Tiger Beat and 16. During that time, he made 50,000dollars each week. He was a star in the 60 second Pepsi commercial that was playing during the Super Bowl XXIV.

His career continued to grow, in 1988, he was a guest star on Full House as well as, Just One of the Guys where his sister, Candace, had the opportunity to act with him as his cousin. It was around his later teen years when he converted to Christianity, and it was from this point that he refused to act out any role which did not coincide with his beliefs as being, too adult or inappropriate for him. This shows very much during his time with the cast of Growing Pains where he shifted his attention from acting to focus on his religious practices. Later this included a vow he had made to his wife, Kirk refuses to kiss any other woman but her, onstage or off because he views it to be a breach of their marriage.
