Early Life and Education

Kristen Ledlow was born and raised in Florida, where she demonstrated a passion for sports and communication from an early age. She initially attended Christian Community School before transferring to North Florida Christian School. During her high school years, she actively participated in volleyball, basketball, and cross-country track. This diverse athletic background laid the foundation for her future in sports broadcasting.

For her higher education, Ledlow attended Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. She majored in broadcasting and communications with a minor in business. While at Southeastern, she distinguished herself as an All-American volleyball player and also served as the lead announcer for the university’s men's basketball games. In her senior year, she was crowned Miss Capital City USA and placed third in the state-level pageant. She graduated in 2010.

Early Broadcasting Career

After completing her degree, Ledlow began her career in journalism at WTXL-TV in Tallahassee, Florida. She served as the host of "The Good News Show" and contributed written articles for the Tallahassee Quarterback Club. Concurrently, she worked with ESPN Tallahassee, gaining experience in radio broadcasting.

Her early work also included sideline reporting for Florida State Seminoles football games, where she covered collegiate athletics with professionalism and enthusiasm. In 2013, she co-hosted "The Opening Drive" on CBS Sports Radio, further broadening her media presence.

Rise to Prominence on NBA TV

In 2013, Ledlow joined WZGC, a sports radio station in Atlanta, where she co-hosted a show alongside Randy Cross and Jason Bailey. She remained with the station until 2014. That same year marked a significant turning point in her career when she was hired by NBA TV. She became the host of "NBA Inside Stuff" alongside former NBA player Grant Hill, making her the first and, to date, the only woman hired as a host by the network.

Ledlow's debut on NBA TV elevated her public profile and solidified her role as a respected sports anchor. She also participated in the 2014 NBA All-Star Weekend Celebrity Game for the Eastern Team, where she scored two points in the first half, showcasing both her athleticism and charisma.
