Kristian Alfonso’s career started as a figure skater, a sport, she proved, that she was really good in, as she won the gold medal in Junior Olympics. However, she could not carry on to achieve greater things in the world of figure skating, as a crushing tobogganing accident left her skating career in the dust, when she was at the age of 13. Soon thereafter, she began modelling, at the very young age she was in, a testament to how she has many talents.

She also proved to be hugely successful in modelling, as she has been spotted on the cover of more than thirty publications, all before she has reached the legal age to drive. Her first appearance on film was in the movie ‘The Starmaker’, in the year of 1981, when she was just eighteen years old. It started moving in the right direction a couple of years later, when she played Hope Williams in the famous soap opera ‘Days of our lives.’

Her various other film and TV appearances include, but are not limited to are - MacGyver, Full House, Murder, She Wrote, Amazing Stories etc.

Even with all these various appearances, her most famous works remains her part in the television series ‘Days of Our Lives’.

This talented American initially married Simon Macauley, in the year of 1987. However, their marriage did not stick, as the couple divorced after four years of marriage, in the year of 1991. 10 years after the divorce, she tied the knot with Danny Daggenhurst, in the year of 2001. This marriage, unlike her previous one, did stick on, and the couple has now been married for more than 15 years.

Also, she is the mother of two children, Gino Macauley and Jack Daggenhurst.

She, along with Peter Reckell, is the author of Bo and Hope : A love story. This time, however, luck did not side with Kristian, as the book was neither a commercial nor a critical success.
