Polaha is married to Julianne Morris. He was in a long term relationship with her before they decided to tie the knot and got married in 2003. The couple is blessed with three kids named Judeh Polaha, Micah Polaha and, Kristoffer Caleb Polaha.

Career and Net Worth

Polaha made his first appearance in the entertainment industry when he was cast in the show Misguided, a series on ABC network. After this successful debut, he acted in Tru Calling which was a Fox Network television series.

In a personal and candid interview with My Devotional Thoughts, Polaha was asked how he got started with the world of acting, “I got started in high school. The guy who was the director of the program, Hamish Tyler, ran a really amazing theater program. He had previously been the football coach, and so he ran the program like a team. He would build people’s careers in the four years they were there. He would recruit them as freshmen, and start them out on smaller parts. And if they were good, he would give them a shot to kind of run the team, so to speak. I got pulled into the theater my freshman year with a play called A Streetcar Named Desire where I played the upstairs neighbor, Steve Hubbell, and I was the one freshman among the entire cast of seniors and two other sophomores. “

The experience was eye-opening for Polaha as he got a taste of his future passion, “And I just fell in love with it. I mean, I fell in love with acting. So I did every play after that in high school. We did four fully-produced plays every year. When we did these plays, they would run for a week. We had a five-hundred seat theater that the audience would normally fill for each performance. We were normally performing for about five hundred people who were not only students from this and other high schools but also from the community itself, which was the Monterrey/Carmel/Pebble Beach area. “

Polaha's role as Nate Bazile, a bar owner on the series Life Unexpected was a big hit. His bar owner character later comes to find out that he is the father of a teenage daughter. The role won him a lot of fans around the world and respect from his peers because of how much emotion he put into playing his character. His role as John Galt in the movie Atlas Shrugged Part III was also a big hit. This movie was released in September 2014 and marked a big milestone for Polaha because his name was finally being thrown in around in major casting rooms.

Despite struggling through tough competition and empty returns, he has managed to grab many important roles in the entertainment industry. He starred in Devil’s Knot Film in 2013 where he played the role of Val Price. In the 2015 film, Where Hope Grows, he played the role of Calvin Campbell.

He has gained a lot of experience in the television industry and is proud to have worked on major shows including Angel, Birds of Prey, House, Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Bones, Without a Trace, Ringer, Castle, Mad Men, CSI; Miami, and Roswell.
