Liana Brackett is an American meteorologist who was born in Temecula, California and is around 32-years-old. She attended Arizona State University for two years before graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Science. Brackett went on to attend UC Davis in California where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media studies. Brackett enjoyed competing in Latin & Ballroom dancing during her time in college. She began working as an intern for KCRA-TV in 2008 but her career didn't take off until she was hired as a meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Portland, Oregon. She worked at the National Weather Service for six years before moving on to FOX 12 Oregon. In 2016, Brackett was hired as an on-camera meteorologist for The Weather Channel. In 2018, Brackett won the Mrs. Georgia America beauty pageant.
She credits a Tony Robbins conference for motivating her to participate in the pageant. Brackett loves to travel and has visited countries including Mexico, Barbados, Spain, France, Italy, and Portugal. She married David Brackett in August of 2015 and currently lives in Marietta, Georgia. She has two pets named Dolce and Dasher and currently works for as a meteorologist The Weather Channel.
