He runs a non-profit organization, named Anthony Robbins Foundation, it is said that the foundation supports around three million people in 56 countries, every year. Robbins is been honoured as “Top Two hundred Business Guru” by Harvard Business School Press, “Top Ten Outstanding Young People” of World by International Chamber of Commerce, “Top Hundred Celebrity” by Forbes and many other prolific labels come under his belt. He is also a peak performance strategist have counselled international leaders like Nelson Mandela, Princess Diana, Mother Teresa, three US Presidents, including Bill Clinton, to name a few.

Robbins was born on Feb 29^th 1960 in North Hollywood, California, his original name was Anthony J. Mahavorick later he took on the surname Robbins from his second step father. He became well known through his infomercial and self help books Unlimited Power and Awaken the Giant Within. He is a self made man who never went to college and started his career with promoting seminars for his mentor John Rohn, inspired by John, he later started selling his own seminars and teaching nuero-linguistic programming after learning it from NLP co-founder John Grinder. His work has been featured in Time, Fortune Forbes, Oprah Winfrey show, Success Magazine and many more. The most famous aspect about his seminar programs are the firewalk experience, which was also featured on Oprah’s episode of Oprah’s Next Chapter where she attended his event ‘Unleash the Power Within’ in Los Angeles and completely mesmerized after experiencing firewalk herself. The firewalk sessions during his seminar was taken into controversy and make headlines saying two dozen people treated for second – and – third degree burns at Tony Robbins event in San Joe which was later taken as misinformation by the people who were not present during the event.

Like every one of have their share of ups and downs in life and so did Robbins, there were times that his personal and professional life was in turmoil too. He was diagnosed with tumour in his pituitary gland in 1994, the tumour was an adenoma, due to the pressure of adenoma on his pituitary gland it resulted in more than a normal growth of his height upto 6’7”. Talking about the lows in Robbins personal life, he got married at the age of 24 with Becky Jenkins, who already had 17 years old son, 11 years old daughter and 5 years old son from her two former marriages, after good 15 years of their marriage they decided to end the relationship and get a divorce in 2001. Later, in the same year Robbins got married to his girlfriend Sage Robbins, his current wife, whom he had met coincidentally in a business relationship and have been together since then. He is not known to have an extra marital affair.
