Linda Hunt was born as Lydia Susanna Hunter on April 2, 1945 in Morristown, New Jersey. She is known as an American film, television, and stage actress. She made her film acting debut when she played Mrs. Oxheart in Popeye. The movie was beloved by adults and children. The character of Popeye was popular with adults because of the cartoons that they grew up. They were happy to take their children to see the live action version of the character that they loved so much.

Linda made a huge leap in her career when she played the male character known as Billy Kwan in a film called The Year of Living Dangerously which was released in 1982.
