Her interest in acting began at a very young age of eight. Her career began in the year 1972 when she worked for a very popular newspaper and in the same year she went on to work in a movie named Vuelven los campeones justicieros, but she did not get any credits for her role in the movie. She then went on to work in a television show named Muchacha italiana viene a casarse where she portrayed the recurring role of Raquel in the year 1971. This role helped her grab a lot of attention and she was also appreciated for this role. In the year 1978, she went on to work in the telenovela Viviana where she portrayed the lead role of Viviana Lozano. This show helped her gain popularity across the globe. In the year 1985, she went on to work in the television serried Tu o nadie where she played the lead role of Raquel Samaniego.

After her uncredited role in her debut movie, she went on to work in several films which include El hijo del pueblo as Carmen in 1974, Cabalgando a la luna as Beatriz in 1974, El ministro y yo as Barbara in 1976, Los hijos de Sanchez as Martha Sanchez in 1978, Los renglones torcidos de Dios as Alice Gould in 1983, El maleficio 2: Los enviados del infierno as Marcela in 1986 and Confetti as Coco Freyre in 1996. She released her first album in the year 1975 titled Siempre estoy Pensando en Ti. She is popular for many of her albums, videos and singles. According to her bio, her most popular album until now has been Besame which released in the year 1991. She was married to her long-time boyfriend Pedro Torres in the year 1988, but the relationship ended in divorce. She has one child with Pedro. She then went on to marry Arturo Jordan in the year 2004, but this marriage also ended in divorce. They do not have any children together. According to her biography, her net worth is not disclosed.
