Early Life and Career

Mannie is a passionate rapper and music lover. This fact is very well demonstrated in his early life. He started working as a local DJ for New Orleans. He played songs in parties at various clubs. His career was started when he began a partnership with MC Gregory D, a New Orleans Rapper. It was in the year 1987 when Mannie Fresh produced his first album Throwdown. Mannie Fresh produced the album while Gregory sang it. Two more albums were released by them after this, one in late 1980s and other in early 1990s. It was in 1993 when Mannie did his last album with Gregory, he met with Baby Williams. Bryan “Baby Williams” offered Thomas to be an in house producer of his firm. Here, was the start of his career with Record Label Cash Money Records.

Peak of the Mannie Fresh’s Career

Mannie Fresh made famous albums for the Hot Boys that topped the charts. Hot Boys was a three member band consisting of B.G Juvenile, Lil Wayne and Turk. Mannie experimented with production of these records in group as well as a solo work. He also produced is own solo album known as Trivia, His solo song “Real Big” became a big hit and gained prominence very soon. It got number 72 position on billboard of 100 tracks. Due to financial crises Mannie had to split from Cash Money in 2005. After this, Fresh singed in with Def Jam South and released his solo album “Return of the Ballin” on 27th October, 2007. His second album was also a big hit and amassed appreciation from fans. The album completely produced by the Fresh, features many guests too such as Lil Jon and Rick Ross.

Personal Life

There is very less known about the personal life of Mannie Fresh, apart from the fact that he is a Louisiana based rapper and music producer. He is very much close to the Lil Wayne as if they have a father and son relationship. Mannie’s sister Angela Bryan is the most notable family member who has remained in headlines because of her murder in her house in New Orleans. There are rumors that Mannie is married to his girlfriend, still the news is not confirmed. This is the reason why any news related to divorce or even children can be most probably fake one. There is not even much known about his girlfriend that who she is. Mannie personally speaks very less about her personal life before media, so not much is known about him.
