Melissa Smith was born on June 4, 1982 and is better known by her stage name Melissa Molinaro. She adopted her mom's maiden name Molinaro as her professional stage name in 2010.

Melissa was born in Whitby, Ontario but her family moved to Rochester Hills, Michigan when she was 13 years of age. She started figure skating at 3 years old and gymnastics at age 5. She then started going to Deborah's Stage Dance Door Performing Arts Academy. She was given a role as the lead in front of an audiences who enjoyed her performance in shows like "Cinderella", "Beauty and the Beast", and "Cabaret".

Career

Melissa co-starred in Dolph Lundgren's action film, Command Performance, and had a noteworthy role in the dance drama film, Honey 2. Melissa has gotten prominent praise and fame from her appearance in Old Navy's "Super C-U-T-E" commercial in 2011 and for the video for "Move Floor", the primary single from Melissa's debut music album, "The Love/Dance Project".
