Education and career

Though an actor, she has studied literature from the University of Redlands. At the age of 17 Morgan York quit her acting career and presently she is concentrating on her writing career. She has been very successful on the screen but she claims that she does not enjoy acting as much as she does writing.

Her very first TV appearance was for a commercial for an ear thermometer. She did the ad for the Braun Thermoscan when she was only 18 years old. Probably this is what really motivated her that at the age of nine she started seeking out agents and looking for positions on the floor. She records that she used to get many invitations to appear on the screen. She did her first movie which became a hit called ‘Cheaper by the Dozen’. In the year 2002, she then featured in the film Pacifier which was played in Toronto Canada. The following year she was selected to appear again in the film ‘Cheaper by the Dozen 2’. Her very last appearance was on the best-selling series released by Disney called Hannah Montana. She did eleven episodes in Hannah Montana playing the role of Sarah.

After these stunts, she stated that she is no longer interested in acting but is now concentrating on writing books. She does a lot of writing especially on her website ‘www.morganyork.com’. She writes a lot about fiction and the modern day realities facing this generation. One of the greatest pieces is called ‘I still don’t know what to feel, Orlando’ after the San Bernardino shootings. She narrates how she was in Brooklyn New York at a friend’s place when she heard the sad news.

She is now in the process of writing young adult books which she intends to publish soon.

Salary and Income

Morgan York’s net worth is not really known right now. Since she quit acting in 2010, she has not been in the lime light a lot. All we know is that she retired from acting and that she is no longer interested in the screen. As a matter of fact before she quit this career, she wrote an article about being a child actor and the dark side of such an endeavor.

Family and private life

Morgan has two siblings named Thomas and Wendy. They are said to be very close. She is the older of the two but unfortunately their parents separated. Though a great character, that many have loved over the years we do not expect to see her on the screen any more. Probably she will release a best seller book like the Harry Potter trilogy.
