Morgan York's breakthrough came with her appearance in the 2003 family comedy Cheaper by the Dozen, where she played the role of Kim Baker. Her performance gained positive attention and led to additional opportunities, including a role in the 2005 sequel, Cheaper by the Dozen 2. In 2005, she also starred in the action-comedy film The Pacifier, featuring Vin Diesel, which was filmed in Toronto, Canada.

York later joined the popular Disney Channel series Hannah Montana, portraying the character Sarah over the course of eleven episodes. Her role in the series showcased her acting versatility and further established her presence in teen entertainment.
