Career
Muricy was a midfielder of Sao Paulo in 1970s. He played 177 games in five years and scored 26 goals. He retired in 1978 and took the job as the head coach of Puebla, a Mexican club. He was then titled as the head coach of Sao Paulo Youth Squad in 1994. He remained as the coach for two years and in 1996, he became the manager. He made the team win the National Championship cup, in the same year. He then worked for Internacional for a few years and got back to Sao Paulo in 2006, as manager, for a year. In the same year, he took up the manager job of Palmerias. He was fired from the job after 1-4 defeat in 2010.
