Myla Dalbesio was born in 1987 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Career

In 2004, the 16-year-old Dalbesio was named Miss Wisconsin Teen USA. Through the exhibition she was scouted by Jeff and Mary Clarke, who attempted to place her in traditional size modeling. In the wake of being dismissed by "straight-size" modeling agents at a scouting event in St. Louis, Missouri, Dalbesio found some luck. In the end, she was chosen by the Ford Modeling Agency as a plus size model when she came in for an audition at the age of 18.

Dalbesio was chosen for Calvin Klein's "Superbly Fit" clothing campaign in 2014. She has also showed up in shoots for magazines including LOVE, Purple, Vogue India, Dazed and Confused, Lui, Bon, Oyster, Twin, Viva Moda, Elle France, and Elle Italia.

Personal Life

Dalbesio has composed short papers for various publishers including Suited, Twin Magazine and Oyster. She also composed a regular segment for Elle.com called "Young lady on Girl".

Dalbesio recognizes as a feminist and is always there to support the cause when women need her voice and media influence.
