Born in October 1, 1976 in Germany, Nefise Karatay is a Turkish journalist and actress. She was brought up in the Izmir area of Turkey. She is a Turkish Muslim. She was selected as Miss Turkey in a beauty pageant held in Turkey, which was organized by Interstar. Nefise Karatay had been linked with many famous celebrities during her career including Mehmet Ali Erbil, a television personality and show man in the year 2001. It was rumored that he had gifted her, a horse, which he named as Karatay. Other celebrities that she had a relationship with include Murat Varol, Cuneyt Ozdemir, and Necati Sasmaz. She starting dating Yusuf Day in the year 2011 and they married eventually in the year 2012.

Profession

Nefise Karatay started her career as actress at the age of 18. She started hosting her show at Meram Fine Arts in the same year that she won the beauty pageant. Her victory in the beauty pageant paved the way for her career in professional modeling. She studied at the Capital City Academy of Communication Sciences as part of corporate training given by CNN Turk, which gave her the needed skills for her television hosting career. She was given the flyer program at CNN Turk.

The shows that Nefise Karatay acted in include Inheritor in the year 1995, sister in law in the year 1997, New Life, Tin Soldier, Hunter, Uy  Basuma Arrivals, Three Women, Crazy Family, Faceless Departures and Wayne Valley of the Wolves, which was premiered in 2007. She has produced and anchored her first music program on Number One TV, the success of which made her the host of the show Poster in Meram Fine Arts, which is a cultural and artistic program that focuses on the significant art culture in Turkey. She portrays the role of Ahu Toros in the television show, Kurtlar Vadisi.
