Noah Gray-Cabey is an American actor and pianist best known for his roles in the television series Heroes and My Wife and Kids. Recognized early for both his musical and acting talents, he began his public career as a piano prodigy before transitioning into a notable presence on screen.
Born in 1995 to Whitney Gray and Shawn Cabey, Noah Gray-Cabey was raised in Maine before relocating to California. His father is African American, while his mother is of European descent. From an early age, Noah showed a passion for music—his favorite toy as a young child was a keyboard. By age four, he had already begun performing in public. He later continued his education in California and, in 2011, was accepted into Harvard University.
Gray-Cabey began his music career at the age of four, performing in various venues across the United States. He traveled to Jamaica and, in 2001, went on tour in Australia. At just five years old, he became the youngest soloist to perform at the Sydney Opera House—an extraordinary milestone in any musician’s career. He also made an appearance on the television show Ripley's Believe It or Not!, which helped bring more attention to his extraordinary talent.
His musical talent was supported by his family. His parents established the Action in Music (AIM) program, designed to help young children develop their musical abilities. Funds raised through his concerts have been donated to various charitable causes, including hospitals and orphanages. Gray-Cabey released a CD featuring recordings of his piano performances from as young as four years old.
