Goldschmidt attended The Woodlands High School in Texas, where he showcased exceptional talent as a baseball player. Major League Baseball Debut and Career with the Arizona Diamondbacks

Paul Goldschmidt made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut with the Arizona Diamondbacks on August 1, 2011. He played for the Diamondbacks through the 2018 season, not ending his tenure with them in 2016 as previously stated. By the end of the 2016 season, he had a career batting average of .299 and had solidified his reputation as one of the top first basemen in the league. Goldschmidt both bats and throws right-handed and stands 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighing approximately 102 kg (225 pounds).
