Paul McCartney is known as a British singer and musician. He is most famous for being a member of the most popular bands of all time, the Beatles.
James Paul McCartney was born on June 18, 1942, in Liverpool, England, to Mary and James McCartney. His mom was a maternity medical attendant, and his father a cotton sales rep and jazz piano player with a local band. The youthful McCartney was brought up in a regular working-class family, much like to his future Beatles bandmates Ringo Starr and George Harrison. Sadly, when McCartney was just 14 years of age, passed away from complications after a mastectomy. His future bandmate, John Lennon also lost his mom at a youthful age, a common trait that would create a close bond between the two musicians.
While in Hamburg, the Beatles recorded their first tracks, gathering the consideration of Brian Epstein, a music journalist who dealt with his family's record store. He went to see them perform, realized star power when he saw it and offered to oversee their careers. Epstein refined their look and worked himself deep down attempting to get them a record deal.
The effect that the Beatles had on '60s mainstream culture is difficult to exaggerate. "Beatlemania" before long grasped the world, and when the band made their debut presentation in America, the media called it an "English Invasion." To this day, they are known among multiple generations for their boy band roots and their psychedelic peaks.
In July 2019, Paul delighted Beatles fans when he rejoined with his former Beatles bandmate Ringo Starr at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. The duo amazed fans who had come to see McCartney perform for his Freshen Up tour.
Almost half way through the show, McCartney declared to his fans “a surprise for us, a surprise for you, a surprise for everyone — ladies and gentlemen, the one and only Ringo Starr. McCartney embraced his former bandmate in front of an audience and they proceeded to put on a memorable show.
Disaster struck Paul's personal life in 1998, when McCartney's better half of 29 years, Linda McCartney, passed away after a long fight with cancer. After four years of mourning, the musician married Heather Mills, a former model. They gave birth to a little girl, Beatrice, in 2003. In the midst of much newspaper investigations and gossip, McCartney and Mills parted courses in 2006. He married for the third time, to New York businesswoman Nancy Shevell, in October 2011, in London.
