Perry Farrell was born as Peretz Bernstein in the year 1959. He is an American, songwriter, musician and singer. He is known to be a front man for the alternative rock band called Jane’s Addiction. He created the first touring festival under the name of Lollapalooza and it was the farewell to Jane’s Addiction in the year 1991. This farewell came to be an annual festival. He continued to produce the Lollapalooza together with his partner, C3 and William Morris. He was in charge of the alternative rock groups called Satellite Party and Prono for Pyros. He is a person who was able to perform on the twelve Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival up to now. He appeared using different names Hybrid, Satellite Party, DJ Peretz, Jane’s Addiction and Perry Farrell.
Perry Farrell was born in the Long Island and after sometime, they moved to Florida with their Jewish Family in his teen years. The father was working as a jeweler while the mother was an artist and committed the suicide when he was still three years old. This is the event that he talks about in two of his songs, Then She Did with Twisted Tales. During a certain interview, Farrell said that he believes that there are aliens that visit him and he accepted the spiritually and the knowledge that they are able to bring with them.
Perry Farrell music was influenced by James Brown, Sly and The family Stone, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones and The Beatles. Afterwards, he got to know Lou Reed, Iggy Pop and David Bowie. When he finished his high school, Farrell moved to go to California and started to live there like a surfer. He was living in his own car and he was making money by waiting on the tables and on working on construction sites. He was been sighted on the premier surfing destination around the world including Bali.
In 2002, Perry Farrell got married and his wife is Etty Lau Farrell. She is a professional dancer and she performed in the shows of Jane’s Addiction. They have two sons together, Izzadore Bravo and Hezron Wolfgang. During the interview, Perry Farrell said that he fall in love from the first time she saw her and they have worked together most of their lives. In 2001, Perry Farrell went to Sudan together with other members of Christian Solidarity International where they were negotiating for the release of the slaves from Sudanese. His band donated the earning of one concert for redemption of 2,300 people. Farrell is environmentalist and he wants to be a digital only artist for the next release.
