Philip Rivers

Philip Rivers was born in the year 1981 and he is American football quarterback in San Diego Chargers under NFL. At college football level, he was playing for North Carolina State University and he was drafted for the first round for 2004 NFL draft and he was fourth overall pick in New York Giants before the trade to transfer him to Chargers as the first overall pick.  Rivers has the passer rating of over 95.7 and he is the fourth best of all time among the quarterback of NFL and at least 1.500 passing attempts. Rivers was ranked as a 3rd in NFL history for all time consecutive starts as a quarterback. As a starter for the New Orleans Saints, River came off the bench in order to lead the chargers to the record of 14-2 for the first season for the starter. In the year 2007, he helped the chargers to get their first playoff game from the year 1994 when they beat Tennesse Titans in their wildcard round. This led to the AFC championship game.

Philip Rivers was born in Alabama, his father is called Steve and he was the head coach for Decatur High football team while his mother called Joan was the teacher there. He won the same number of 17 jersey as did his father while he was still in the high school. He continued in the steps of his father and got the job as the head coach for Athens High School in the Nearby Athens city. Starting from the first time he played   his official game until the rookie season, he never saw the bench anymore.

According to the bio of Philip Rivers, he is a devout catholic and he is married to his high school sweetheart called Tiffany. He got married to his wife in the year 2001.  She changed her faith and became a catholic. They have eight children now and they live in California.  He was named to get the award of Walter Payton NFL Man of Year because of his work in Rivers of Hope foundation where he worked with his wife to help the foster children.

Philip Rivers was born in the family of the athletics since his father and his younger brother Stephen also played in College Football. Steve Played for Linebacker in Mississippi State in the year 1970s. He committed for playing for College Football in Louisiana State University, LSU while attending Athens High School and Austin High School.  In 2014, he was qualified to start playing at once at Vanderbilt University but he decided to wound up and he transferred to the Northwestern State University for its 2015 season. During the game with Seahawks, Philip Rivers had to be removed since he suffered injury on his throwing hand.
