Personal Life

Rebecca did her graduation in Media studies at RMIT University during the year 1999. Soon after completing her degree, she began to work at the radio station. Further she served as a sports reporter at the Triple M radio station in Melbourne. At this time, Rebecca got the opportunity to work along with many interesting media personalities and big-bees in Australia. During the year 2006, Rebecca got wedded with a realtor Mr. James Wilson. However their marriage wasn’t successful while they ended-up their relationship in divorce. She was the ambassador of 2007 Geelong Cup and also she has won several other credit and laurels.  

Career

Rebecca presently serves as the reporter and presenter of Seven News. She gave her venturous entry into the media world, soon after completing her graduation at RMIT University. For some time, Rebecca appeared to present the news for Fox FM. Rebecca further migrated to Nova 100 and later she worked at Seven Network too. While serving at Seven Network, during the firs year of reporting, Rebecca won the Quill Award for her extraordinary report of Victoria’s Bushfire that happened in the year 2003 January.

Later in the year 2005, Rebecca took in-charge as a presenter of Seven Afternoon News where she replaced David Johnston till the news bulletin was switched to Sydney studios. Also she was offered to work as a presenter on The Morning News and Sunrise and also she served as a filling host of another Melbourne’s weekend bulletin too. During the year 2011, Rebecca was titled as the Number 1 female ticket holder to get into the Geelong Football Club. Later in the year 2013, she turned back to host Seven Afternoon News replacing the host Samantha Armytage when the production returned back again to Melbourne. In the same year during the month of August 2012, Rebecca was replaced by Matt White and Melissa Doyle.

Rebecca is the most loved and sought-after television anchor featuring Seven Network from many long years. Being the most acknowledged journalist and news presenter, Rebecca enjoys what she does and she is ultimately freaky in presenting the current affairs. Her passion and interest in presenting the current affairs has helped her to score great recognition amidst the public and she finds herself much comfortable on front of the camera. Rebecca seems to be much relaxed while appearing on the screen, and this is because she loves her job much and professionally she is much talented too. Her experience, intelligence and general knowledge are the great plus for her intangible success amidst the Australian audience.

Rebecca worked as the co-host of Melbourne Cup Carnival Myer Fashion where she did a splendid presentation along with Carson Kressley. Besides her profession, Rebecca shows keen interest in helping the charities and many other non-profit organizations. She has been helping the Very Special Kids Charity and many other trust campaigns too.
