Born on October 20, 1977, in Glenview, Illinois, Samuel Stewart Witwer spent his formative years in his hometown. He attended Glenbrook South High School, where his passion for acting and music became evident early on. Sam Witwer began his acting career with a commercial for the Chicago Bulls. He soon transitioned to television, landing voice roles on the medical drama ER.
