Personal Life

Sandra was born in the year 1965, February at Brisbane and she served as the anchor for Network Ten’s Late News. Right from 1990, Sandra worked at Network Ten and she was chosen as the 4th favorite female presenter in the Australian television in the year 2011. Sandra is an ardent sports freak and she is an annual contender at the popular Sun Herald City to Surf Fun Run. She is an easy-go woman by nature and also a person with multiple talents within. She appears very charming and tepid always and gives her active participation in her field of work. Hence the reason, she has been voted and rated as the best 5 presenters in the country.

During her free time, Sandra gives her attention and concentration in being involved in various charitable organizations and also she serves women at the Advisory Board for the National Breast Cancer Centre and moreover she is the joint supporter of Spinal Cure and also the member of Carbine club. Besides everything, she strives to raise funds for encouraging kids sport. Sandra has been the ambassador for Paint a Rainbow Foundation and also gives her extendable support to Surf Life Saving Australia.

Career

Proudly to describe, Sandra was the prideful Australian journalist to capture the news of 9/11 terrorist attacks. Flying in the air she captured the first attack that took place and further after she started to pass the messages live with a breaking coverage. During the year 2010, Sully celebrated her 16th year of completion as a national anchor for Ten’s Late News. Besides presenting the show, she was also the senior editor of that show and played a significant role in composing the bulletin.

Sandra Sully captured plenty of happening major events where a few of them will include the Federal Election that took place in the year 1996, Thredbo Landslide event in the year 1997 and many more. Also she was the first Australian news presenter to capture the terrorism attack that took place on 11th September. Very recently, Sandra captured the network’s Royal Wedding coverage at London bringing the nuptials took place between Kate Middleton and Prince William.

Being an ardent sports freak, Sandra showed keen interest in capturing sports event including the Atlanta games that took place in the year 1996 and XV Commonwealth Games that took place in the year 1994 at Canada. Also she was the first lady to co-present Australia’s National sports event. Sadly, Sandra was the victim of apparent stalker that took place in the year 1997, November. Sully confronted pistol blistered attack twice at the carpark when returning from the late shift work.
