Scott Elrod was born in Germany and after the stint with the military stops, he chose to move to Colorado. He went to Northeast Elementary, he moved then to Ponderosa High School in Parker and he was playing baseball while running on the tracks and he excelled in the science and math. After the graduation, he went to study in Metro State College. By reading his bio, he worked for different jobs which include delivering the pizzas or layering the runways on the Denver International Airport. He was modeling for the local fashion retailers and for print campaigns. When he was at work, he would be found at the track while racing the motorcycles.
When he graduated with the hopes of going to the fly F-16s, he joined the Air Force and he became the air traffic controller and she was earning the private pilot license. After over 6 years, within the military, he found out that he wanted to achieve more than what the military was offering and he decided to retire.
Using the modeling and the entrepreneurial skills he had, together with his best friend, he was planning to start the marketing company or mortgage company but they decided to go into high-tech industry and the business where not going well. However, this is the time that he saw Tom Cruise in the Top Gun which his father piloted in the really life and decided to try acting.
Scott Elrod relocated to the Los Angeles in 2004 so that he can pursue the career in acting. After taking up some classes in acting, he became the part of the CSI: New York and starred in days of our lives. Afterwards, he got the chance of appearing in the Men in Trees that took place in Canada, in Vancouver area.
After that, he was in many TV films in the series called Hallmark Uncorked and it was opposite to Julie Benz. Other movies he played are True Blue Pilot, HellHounds and Castle. His experience includes knowledge in motorcycle and professional cars. In his spare time, he likes to scuba dive, racing motorcycles and racing cars, snowboarding and flying. He keeps in the shape through running, lifting weights and kickboxing.
