Scott Weiland was born as Scott Richard Kline in the year 1967 and died in 2015. He was American songwriter, singer and musician. In his career that was over 3 decades, he was known as the singer of Stone Temple Pilots in the year 1989 until 2013 and played in Super group Velvet Revolver since 2003 until 2008. He was able to establish himself like a solo artist and was able to release two albums, live albums, two cover albums together with different musicians from 1995.

From his biography, Scott Weiland was born to Kent and Williams Kline. When he was five years old, he took up the name of his step father David Weiland. During this time, he moved to Ohio and there he attended Kenston High School and moved to California like a teenager and also attended the Edison High School of Orange Coast College and Huntington Beach. Afterwards, he devoted himself to his music career full time and he was working as the Paste Up artist of Los Angeles Daily Journal which is a legal newspaper.
Scott Weiland was married to his first wife was Janina Castaneda. They got married in 1994 and they divorced in 2000. He got married again to a model called Mary Forsberg in 2000 and they had two children together, Lucy and Noah. Scott Weiland was arrested because of domestic violence but the couple decided to go to counseling. Afterwards they filed to get a divorce, but it did not push through since they reconciled instead but divorced in the end. His autobiography called Not Dead & Not For Sale, was co-written by David Ritz.
