Shereen Bhan 

Shereen Bhan is a news anchor and a journalist of Indian origins. She was born in 1976. She is now a managing editor of CNBC-TV18 and she started to work on this job since September in 2013. This is when Udayan Mukherjee said that he wanted to stop being in charge.

From her biography, she was born in the Kashmiri Hindi family while she did the schooling at Kendriya Vidylaya found in Kashmir and then at Air Force Bal Bharati School at Lodhi Road in the city of New Delhi. She graduated at St Stephen’scollege in delhi and did philosophy. She got masters in Communication studies with University of Pune where she specialized in the television and film.

She started to work at CNBC-TV18 in 2000 and she had been responsible when it comes to breaking many news stories that had been responsible to define the Indian economic landscape in the past times. She has also been able to interview the biggest names in the politics and business on global and domestic level. Shereen had been an anchor and also an editor for Young Turks and this is the longest running shows about entrepreneurs in India. This is a section that had been able to build a niche category in the business news programming.

In her jobs, she was also the host for the Overdrive and it won the News Television Award for Best Auto Show in three consecutive years. She is the heads for the special features of the channel feature programming that became the pioneering shows like Ministers of Change and then What Women Want. Over 14 years that she has been working in the business journalism, she had been a recipient of The Business Talk Show Award and for News Television Awards of Two years. She was named by World Economic Forum as Young Global Leader. She got Best Business Anchor Award for News Television Award of 2013. She was the anchor and producer of Young Turks, The Nation’s Business, Power Turks and India Business Hour. She is also the one anchoring and putting together CNBC Industry Vectors and Managing India Brainstorm. It is believed that she has a high salary and has made a net worth of 3 million dollars.
