Sonja Morgan is believed to have a net worth over 15 million dollars. She is known as a film producer, socialite and a television star. She is most well known for being a part of the Bravo reality show called The Real Housewives of New York. She was paid $220,000 for each season and this greatly increased her net worth. She recently began filming season 10 of the show.

Sonja Morgan was born in Albany, New York in 1963. She attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in the late 80's where she received a Bachelor degree in Marketing. Between semesters she was travelling around the world as a fashion model and actress. She modeled for top designers in Milan and Paris. Part of her professional network comes from Fashion Retailing and Wholesale in the New York Garment District. After some time, she chose to focus her attention elsewhere and she started to work as a Restaurant, Hotel and Luxury Brand consultant. She was the manager for a number of different top establishments around the country. Sirio Maccioni of Le Cirque has said "very few people have her talent in our business." John H. Mariana, who is an author and Food and Travel Correspondent for Esquire Magazine, has labelled Sonja as "The Straw that Stirs the Drink." She has worked for a number of other notable clients including David Koch, Carl Ichan, Alfred Taubman, and Donald Trump who also labelled her "the glue."

It was in the Italian neighborhood of New York City called San Pietro where she met with her ex-husband who was 33 years older.  When they get married, she was working as a hostess. John Adams Morgan is the descendant of investment banker JP Morgan and of President John Adams. The two gave birth to a daughter and they named her Quincy. Their divorce was effective in the year 2006. She says that her ex-husband did not pay the $3 million dollars as stated in the divorce settlement and that he continues to owe her over $300,000 dollars to support their child.

According to Bravo TV, Sonja gushes that her daughter, Quincy, is the joy of her life. Quincy is currently 17 years old. She is a sophomore at her private boarding school and is a straight A student.  "The finance side, she definitely got from [her father]. She is a math wizard. She got that from the J.P. Morgan side," Sonja said. "She's very well balanced." Quincy likes fashion and architecture and also regularly partakes in charity work.

Before John Adams Morgan, Sonja had a number of notable relationships. She had a six-year engagement with Italian Count Pierfancesco, whom she lived with in Rome, Italy, and Park Avenue, Manhattan. She also was involved with Prince Albert of Monaco, comedian Richard Lewis, rock legend Eric Clapton, and tennis star John McEnroe, according to her official biography. 

In addition of being a TV star, she is also a writer for a cookbook featuring toaster oven recipes. She is now writing a screenplay about her divorce and she thinks it can be released into a book soon.

Sonja is known for her humor and affordable luxurious designs. Her personal collection includes practical, but at the same time fabulous, swimwear and sportswear and also luxurious and elegant jewelry and gowns.
