Stacey Dooley biography

Stacey Dooley is a British television personality, journalist, and documentary filmmaker who was born on March 9, 1987, in Luton, United Kingdom. Dooley spent her early years in Luton, Bedfordshire, and went on to attend Stopsley High School. She dropped out of high school at age 16 and began taking the odd job at hairdressers in Bramingham. She also got a job as a shop clerk at Luton Airport. By age 21, Dooley had already appeared on television as a participant on the documentary television series "Blood, Sweat, and T-shirts", in April 2008.

The show revolved around Dooley and several other participants who were chosen to represent the typical fashion customer. After her appearance on the show, Dooley began taking an interest in labor laws in developing countries. She even got her own series commissioned called "Stacy Dooley Investigates" which began airing in August 2009. The two-part special was shown on BBC Three in 2009 and on ABC2 in Australia in 2010. The series got her some serious exposure and by 2011, Dooley had her show aired continued on BBC Three as "Tourism and the Truth: Stacey Dooley Investigates". She has been seeing Sam Tucknott since 2015 but the pair has not yet tied the knot.
