Curry began his international career at the 2007 FIBA Under-19 World Championship, helping Team USA secure the silver medal. He later joined the senior national team for the 2010 FIBA World Championship, contributing in limited minutes to the team’s gold medal performance. In 2014, he played a more prominent role, leading the U.S. team to an undefeated run and a championship victory at the FIBA Basketball World Cup.

Stephen Curry married Ayesha Alexander, his long-time girlfriend from Toronto, on July 30, 2011, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The couple has three children, including daughters Riley (born in 2012) and Ryan (born in 2015), as well as a son, Canon (born in 2018), although only the daughters were previously mentioned. The family resides in the San Francisco Bay Area, near Walnut Creek, California.
