Suzanne Malveaux

Suzanne Malveaux is an American news journalist. She was born in Lansing, Michigan with roots of French, Spanish, and African descent. She graduated from Harvard with a degree in sociology and then obtained a master's degree in broadcasting from the Columbia School of Journalism. She served as a White House correspondent during which she interviewed former presidents George H. Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush, as well as Laura Bush. She has also had the opportunity to interview then-Senator Barack Obama in 2008.

She has traveled across the world to areas such as Europe, the Balkans, Asia, Africa, Australia, Latin America, and the Middle East. She is known for being anchor for The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer and CNN Newsroom, as well as her own show Around the World.

In June, 2004, Malveaux adopted a baby girl.
