Tempah’s music career began in 2005. He joined up with the Aftershock Hooligans and recorded numerous songs with them. His first mixtape Chapter1: Verse 22 was released in 2006. The free mixtape was released via Aftershock Records. British music Channel AKA aired his song Tears and he gained immense recognition for Wifey. He stayed on with Aftershock until 2007 and then, moved on stating that Aftershock did not recognize him as an artist.

His 2010 singles Pass Out and Frisky topped various single charts. These single tracks led to The Disc-Overy his debut album, after which he cut two more new singles Like It or Love It and Lucky Cunt. His single Drinking from the Bottle was a smash hit. His subsequent two singles Trampoline and Children of the Sun gave glimpses of what can be expected from this super singer. 

Tempah was linked to The Voice and Price Tag singer Jessie J. Though she tweeted her fury of the reports of her romance with him, sources say that she had really fallen for him. They have been on a few dates, getting to know each other. The couple became close when they performed together at the Royal Albert Hall. To them, romance is going out for long walks in the evening, pulling up their hoody, so that no one recognizes them. They are happy to hang out in parks and local cafes and just do normal things.  However, he has not celebrated marriage, so no there’s no chance of divorce.

Tempah’s love pursuits include getting cozy with Georgia Salpa, having a crush on Tina Barrett of S Club 7’s. Sources revealed that he dates Daisy Lowe and may actually settle down with her. Lowe has fancied him for some time. She has the biggest crush for him and says he is lucky for her. However, she is worried about going public with their romance. Rumors also suggest that he has dated the DJ singer Yasmin. But the lady denies it saying they are friends from childhood and occasionally meet him. The media of course did not believe her. They do make a great musical pair.

Tempah once slept with a groupie, while the girl’s mom waited outside. It shocked him when the girl’s mother suggested waiting outside his dressing room so that her daughter got better acquainted with him. He has a pretty impressive collection of phone numbers collected during his tours of universities to gather support for his second album Demonstration. He does have fun meeting attractive girls, but does not consider them girlfriend material. He thinks they are interested in him for the wrong reasons. Seems that the young man has a thing for the pretty girls!
