Early Life and Background

Corey Michael Mixter, known professionally as Titanic Sinclair, was born on February 12, 1987. He adopted the stage name Titanic Sinclair for his creative ventures across film, music, and digital media.

Career and Artistic Collaborations

Sinclair first gained attention as one half of the indie pop duo Mars Argo, partnering with singer Brittany Sheets, who used "Mars Argo" as her stage name. The duo was active from 2009 to 2015, producing music and video content characterized by its satirical and surreal style.

After relocating to Los Angeles in 2013, Sinclair began a new professional collaboration with singer and internet personality Poppy. Together, they created a series of abstract video clips on YouTube under the channels “Moriah Poppy” and later “thatPoppyTV.” The partnership extended to writing songs, producing music albums, launching a YouTube Red series, and conducting concert tours under Poppy’s brand. In June 2018, Sinclair and Poppy introduced Poppy.Church, an interactive digital platform designed to engage their fanbase in a multimedia experience.

Legal Dispute and Accusations

On April 17, 2018, Brittany Sheets, performing under her legal name, filed a 44-page lawsuit accusing Sinclair and Poppy of copyright infringement and emotional abuse. The lawsuit claimed that Sinclair’s subsequent creative works with Poppy bore significant similarities to the content originally developed during the Mars Argo project. Sheets also alleged personal misconduct related to the period following the dissolution of their professional and personal relationship.
