Tom Shillue is a storyteller, actor, television host, and stand-up comedian, originally from Massachusetts. He began his career performing in short films and making guest appearances in various television series. His early work included a stint as a correspondent on The Daily Show and a guest appearance in the comedy feature film Mystery Team (2009), produced by Derrick Comedy.

Television Appearances and Fox News

Shillue gained wider recognition for his performances on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, where he showcased both his stand-up comedy and musical talents. He was part of the barbershop quartet, The Rag Time Gals, performing comedic renditions of pop songs such as “SexyBack” alongside Fallon, A.D. Miles, and Chris Tartaro, with appearances featuring celebrities including Justin Timberlake.

He later transitioned to roles in news comedy and hosting. In 2015, Shillue became the host of Fox News Channel’s late-night show Red Eye, succeeding Greg Gutfeld, who moved on to launch The Greg Gutfeld Show. During Gutfeld’s promotional tour for his book Not Cool, Shillue also co-hosted several episodes of The Five.

Acting and Television Roles

In addition to his hosting duties, Shillue has appeared in a variety of television programs, including guest spots on Law & Order, Broad City, and Spin City. He also made stand-up appearances on Conan, further solidifying his presence in comedy television.

Tom Shillue has an extensive background in live comedy. He was the opening act for comedian Jim Gaffigan and collaborated with him in the 1990s on a two-man show titled The American White Male. Shillue’s solo stage performances include critically acclaimed shows such as Supernormal and Dad.

During the Lewinsky scandal era, he was known for his impersonations of historical figures like Harry Truman, Lyndon B. Johnson, and John F. Kennedy. He also portrayed Ken Starr in Starr’s On Broadway, a social satire created by Eric Zaccar.
