Trent Dilfer

Trent Dilfer is football quarterback in the national football league. He got drafted under Tampa Bay Buccaneers and he was the sixth overall in the year 1994. He went on and played for Cleveland Browns, Seattle Seahawks and Baltimore Ravens. He was playing the college football for California State University. He was a pro-bowl selection together with the Buccaneers in the year 1997 together with Ravens in the super bowl of XXXV. He now works at NFL as an analyst for the ESPN. Dilfer went to Aptos High School of California.

Trent Dilfer while attending Fresno State, he started to play as quarterback for 21/2 season. He helped the Fresno State to win and to share the title for conference for 3 seasons that are consecutive with two bowl games. During his junior time, he showed efficiency at the level of being called the WAC offensive Player of the Year. He set the NCCAA record two times for the pass attempts and there was no interception and this continued until the year 2007. When Andre Woodson of Kentucky broke his record, he decided that it was time to go to the 1994 NFL Draft for senior season.

Trent Dilfer is living at Saratoga in California or in San Francisco Bay Area. His wife is Cassandra Dilfer. She is a former swimmer for Fresno state and they have three children together, Delaney, Victoria and Madeleine. They had a son called Trevin but he died. He died because of the heart problems when he was 5 years old. Trent said that they are still grieving because of this loss and he wept in public. Aptos High school where Dilfer attended his high school, they called their field Trevin Dilfer Field. Dilfer is a Christian. While on the broadcast of the Cardinals and Titans Preseason game of 2012, Dilfer said that the was over 265lbs and that he was drinking himself to go to sleep when he was in the tenure of the Seahawks. The reason for this was because of losing the child. Hasselbeck was the one who helped him to recover.

Trent Dilfer started to play professionally with Tampa Bay Buccaneers and he was drafted for their first pick in 1994NFL draft when he finished the junior season with Fresno State. When he signed with Baltimore, he played as the backup of Tony Banks. When Banks lost two times with four straight weeks when he was not able to make an offensive touchdown, Ravens chose to replace Banks and Dilfer took his place. Seattle Seahawks signed up Dilfer to be a backup for Matt Hasselbeck. When he was injured, he got the chance to play in his place. He also played for Cleveland browns and San Francisco 49ers.
