Former American Football Quarterback, Matthew Michael Hasselback was born on 25th September, 1975 in Boulder Colorado. At present Matt is an analyst for ESPN for its Sunday NFL Countdown. Matthew started his NFL career in 1998. He was drafted by the Green Bay Hackers in 1998 NFL Draft’s Six Round. In 2001, he was traded with Seattle Seahawks. During his tenure with Seahawks, he made six playoff appearances and also played a Super Bowl. In 2005 he was an All Pro. During his playing career he played from Indianapolis colts and Tennessee Titans. He has a good looking athletic body with a height of 6 ft 4 inches. This can be seen in the various pictures. Early Life and Career

Matt attended the Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood along with his brothers. He was a passionate football player from his high school. He attended the Boston College that was located near his home. He played with the Boston College Eagles the team of his college. He played with team from 1994 to 1997. He used to play with Eagles at the position of starting quarterback, the position was later held by his brother Tim. Matt completed his graduation from Boston College with a marketing degree. His football career in college was very impressive. In the USA today he was given an honorable All American Mention for his senior year play.

Career Achievements

In 1998, Matt started his career with Green Bay Packers. He did few practice sessions with his team and played as a starting quarterback as fill in for Brett Favre. On second March, 2001 he was traded with Seattle Seahawks. Here, he practiced under the coaching of Mike Holmgren. His early years were full of struggle as he had to compete with Trent Dilfer for playing time. His finish in 2002 was marvelous, that’s why he started his 2003 season confidently as a regular player. In 2011, he signed a contract worth of $21 million with Tennessee Titans. In 2013 he signed a $7.5 million worth contract with Indianapolis Colts. His annual salary from colts was estimated to be $ 3000000. On 9th March, 2016 he tool retirement and joined ESPN as a football analyst. He played the three pro bowls in his career. He was also a proud team member of the Seattle Seahawks 35th Anniversary team.

Hesselback’s mother’s name is Mary Beth and his father’s name is Don Hasselback. His father Don Hasselback played for the New England Patriots tight end. His father played for Colorado during his college. He has two younger brothers, Tim and Nathanael. Tim also played the football for same college team for which Matthews played. On 17th June 2000 Matthews married Sarah Egnaczyk. The couple was in relationship from college time. At Boston College Sarah was an athlete and she used to play with field Hockey Team. They are living a happy married life so there are no chances of divorce. With his wife Sarah, Matthews has three children; two daughters Mallory and Annabelle; they also have a son Henry.
