She is best known for her role as Beatrix "Bird" Castro in the MTV teen drama series Finding Carter. Active in the entertainment industry since 2000, Vanessa has steadily built a versatile career in both television and film. Her heritage is culturally diverse, with a Scottish mother and an East African father. She has one sister, Celina Mziray.
Vanessa Morgan graduated from Colonel By Secondary School in 2010. In 2013, she and her sister Celina participated in the first season of The Amazing Race Canada, where they impressively finished in third place.
