In fact, after 12 years of marriage with Donald Jr, and 5 children, Vanessa recently filed for the divorce.

Vanessa Trump grew up in Townhouse on Upper East Side in Manhattan and was a tennis star while a student at Dwight School in Upper West Side. She studied psychology at “Marymount Manhattan College” of New York.

Before entering the Trump family, Vanessa was working as an actress, and she played in the movie “Something's Gotta Give” (2003), she’s been in the cast of the TV show “The Apprentice” (2004), and in the reality TV show “Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It” (2010).

Vanessa Trump started to model at early age, and she’s been assigned to the “Wilhemina” agency. Her mother is Bonnie Haydon, a woman of Danish ancestor who ran “Kay Models Agency”. Her father, Charles Haydon (born Charles Hochberg), was a lawyer. And her sister, Veronika, is also a model.

At the age of 20, Vanessa was dating the worldwide known actor Leonardo DiCaprio. The two were linked by gossip reports back in 1998, after she was seen “nuzzling Leo at that premiere party at Moomba for James Toback’s Two Girls and a Guy,” New York magazine reported in a feature on the actor that same year.

Vanessa met Donald Trump Jr in a fashion show in the year 2003, and she’s been introduced to her future husband by her future father in law himself, Donald Trump Sr. Their initial meeting was a little “awkward”. In an interview to “The Times” Vanessa said “I’m at this fashion show. Donald Trump comes up to me with his son: ‘Hi, I’m Donald Trump. I wanted to introduce you to my son Donald Trump, Jr.’ ”

After a conversation described as “brief” and “awkward,” they were introduced again.

The pair were introduced for a third time six weeks later by a mutual friend at a birthday party at a New York restaurant, where they ended up hitting it off. “We talked for an hour,” Vanessa recalled.

Although the two initially didn’t remember each other from their first meeting, Vanessa says she recalled blurting at one point, Wait, you’re “the one with the re—-ed dad!”

They became soon a couple, and they got engaged soon after their first meeting. Donald Trump Sr criticized his son when he’s been on Larry King Show, since he accepted a free engagement ring from the “New Jersey Store” in order to announce the engagement in that store (let’s say that it wasn’t strictly necessary, being the money not a big concern in the Trump family…). Vanessa and Donald Jr got married in 2005, and the wedding took place at Palm Beach in Florida, at the “Mar-A Lago Club” which is owned by Donald Trump Sr.

Vanessa has been involved into the campaign trailer with her husband, together with the other members of the family, to promote the recent candidature of Donald Sr for the presidential elections.

Vanessa Trump has been important in improving the social profile of her husband: she took him to many charity events, and brought many headlines in the gossip columns.
