EP Releases and Collaborations

Vic Mensa continued building his discography with the release of his debut extended play, There’s Alot Going On, on June 3, 2016. The EP received critical acclaim for its introspective lyrics and sociopolitical themes. In 2017, he followed up with a second EP titled The Manuscript, released on June 8. Debut Album: The Autobiography

Mensa’s debut studio album, The Autobiography, was released in July 2017 via Roc Nation, the label he is signed with. The album featured collaborations with a diverse roster of artists including Syd, Chief Keef, Pusha T, Ty Dolla Sign, Joey Purp, Saul Williams, Pharrell Williams, The-Dream, and even alternative rock band Weezer. The project peaked at number 27 on the Billboard 200 chart and received praise for its candid reflections on personal, social, and cultural issues.
