Wallis Currie-Wood is an American actress who was born on December 12, 1991, in Austin, Texas to Margie Currie-Wood. She studied violin at University of Texas String project and at Austin Chamber Music Academy in Austin, Texas. She also went on to attend Juilliard School where she studied acting. She pursued a career in acting and began as a stage performer in the theatrical productions "Twelfth Night", "The Cherry Orchard", and "Buried Child." After graduation from Juilliard and establishing her name as a stage performer, Currie-Wood landed a role in the comedy film "The Intern" alongside stars Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro.
She currently plays Stephanie "Stevie" McCord on the hit series "Madam Secretary". Her career culminated in the CBS television role and launched her into stardom. Currie-Wood began dating her Juilliard classmate and American actor Alex Sharp in 2014. The pair has been in a relationship ever since but has yet to tie the knot.
