Brady has been married and divorced twice. His first marriage to Diana Lasso lasted from 1993 to 1995. He later married Mandie Taketa in 1999, with whom he has a daughter, born in 2003. Their marriage ended in 2008, but they have maintained a cooperative co-parenting relationship.

Standing at 6 feet tall, Brady is known for his clean-cut look, signature charisma, and shaved head. In a 2014 interview, he publicly disclosed his long-term struggle with depression, revealing that the tragic death of actor Robin Williams was a turning point in seeking help.
