Yasmine Amanda Bleeth, an American former actress, was born in New York City to Philip and Carina Bleeth. Her father, a business proprietor, is of Russian-Jewish and German-Jewish descent. During the time of Yasmine’s birth, Philip Bleeth was connected with artist Alice Brock and musician Arlo Guthrie. Her mother, Carina, who passed away in the early 1990s, was of Algerian descent.
Yasmine Bleeth began her career in entertainment at just 10 months old, appearing in a Johnson & Johnson "No More Tears" baby shampoo commercial. At the age of six, she was featured on the TV show Candid Camera and later participated in a Max Factor cosmetics campaign alongside model Cristina Ferrare.
