Zoe McLellan is an American television actress who was born on November 6, 1974, in La Jolla, California. McLellan was born in California but was raised in Washington. She attended South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, Washington in 1992. By 1995, McLellan began pursuing a career in television but it wasn't until years later that she landed a role on "Sliders, "Diagnosis: Murder", and "Star Trek: Voyager". The year 200 saw McLellan finally debut on the big screen when she landed her first major movie role in the fantasy film "Dungeons & Dragons." From there, McLellan joined the cast of the CBS series "JAG".
She has periodically returned to the show to resume her role as Navy Petty Officer Jennifer Coates when the script calls for it. After "JAG" finally ended, McLellan was cast in the ABC soap comedy series "Dirty Sexy Money" but the show only lasted two seasons. She soon found herself rejoining a CBS production when she guest-starred in "NCIS: New Orleans". Her latest work includes being a series regular on the second season of ABC's "Designated Survivor" where she plays White House Counsel Kendra Daynes. McLellan was married in February 1012 to actor J.P. Gillain. The pair soon had a son but they divorced in 2016 with McLellan filing for custody of their son.
