Adam Scott

Adam Scott was born in 16th July 1980 in Delaide, Australia. He started playing at tender age of 4 and was coached by his father in his childhood. His family moved to Queensland when he was 7 years where developed his love for beach surfing at age of 13 Scott for first time won a game against his father which impressed him. When he attained age of 17 years he was enrolled at Kooralbyn International School an institution which is known for its golfing program and even while at school he was considered talented more than his classmates. Scott moved to United States after three years in school where he joined University of Nevada and turned professional player in 2000 and by the year 2013 Adam became the first Australian to win masters tournament.

Education

Scott attended Matthew Flinders Anglican College while at age of 9 and later joined the Southport School and completed his high school education at Kooralbyn International School. He joined University of Nevada in United States

Career

He turned professional in year 2000 season after his impressive performance in European tour. At that time his best was sixth place in Linde German Masters. His career gained momentum in 2001 for a whole year has a professional when he won European Tour Alfred Dunhill Championship in South Africa. In 2002 Scott also won the Qatar Masters and Scotish PGA Championship.  On the same made his maiden appearance at Masers Tournament where he took 9th position.

In 2003 he lost to Tiger Woods at WGC Accenture Match Play Championship. However, Scott won the Scandinavian Masters as well as Deutsche Bank Championship. in 2004 he when on to win the player’s championship and in 2005 he won the Nissan Open tournament and later the Johnie Walker Classic in Beijing. In 2007 Scott was able to win for the fifth time the PGA tour and also the Shell Houston Open. In 2008 He won the Qatar Masters and also won the EDS Byron nelson Championship. However, in the 2009 this was worst time of his career since he dropped from the top 50 and finished 108th outside the PGA money tour list. But at December in the same year managed to redeem himself by winning the Australian Open.  He was also able to win the PGA tour in Valero Texas Open. In 2011 Masters Tournament he finished second alongside Jason Day.

In 2013 Scott emerged among the top golfers in the 2013 Masters Tournament in Georgia. Although the tournament was packed with pressure Scott managed to perform his best to emerge the first Australian to win the Masters Tournament. He later followed with win in Barclays and later won the Australian PGA championship. 

Personal Life

Scott got married to Marie Kojza IN 2014 in a small ceremony. Marie is a Swedish architect who was in long-term relationship with Scott prior to their marriage in 2000 before they separated and reunited in 2013. After their marriage in 2015 the couple was blessed with a girl child named Bo Vera Scott. Although Scott was previously in relationship with former tennis player Ana Ivanovic they separated after one year. Currently Scott is a touring golf professional at Palms Course Sanctuary Cove at his hometown.
