Background

Alexandra Nicole Michael was born on May 15, 1990 in Colleyville, Texas. She has experienced a great childhood in growing up in the state of Texas. Her career started in the wake of winning the Fashion!Dallas/Kim Dawson Model Search challenge in 2005 at the young age of 15. She moved on from Grapevine High School in May 2008 and moved to New York to proceed with her rising modeling career.

Career

In 2006, Michael signed with DNA Models and showed up in an Italian Elle publication. In February 2007, she made her runway debut on the fall New York runway, where she opened for 3.1 Phillip Lim and Alice Roi. She strolled the Fall Marc by Marc Jacobs show in London, just as the Fall Lanvin show in Paris in March. All through 2007, she showed up in notable magazines, for example, W, French Revue de Modes, Harper's Bazaar, and Teen Vogue. In October, she strolled the runway in Paris for Chanel, Christian Dior, Karl Lagerfeld, and Lanvin.

Personal Life

In the wake of being suspended from Fashion week in February 2008, Michael showed up on Today and transparently discussed her battle with bulimia nervosa and anorexia nervosa.
