Amy Mathews was born on May 19, 1973, in Minnesota. She was raised in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. There is no any information about her parents, siblings and early years. She studied at the Boston University. Afterwards, she continued at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York.
