Andres Iniesta was born as Andres Iniesta Lujan in Spani. His date of birth is 11 may 1984. He was born in a working class family and has worked his way through poverty to be where he is now. He started playing football when he was just 5 years old. At the age of 12, he started playing for Albacete Balompie a small club in Spain. He was found by a scout who saw him play in the small league and dominates it. He was later signed by the Barcelona Youth team as his father had good relations with the coach of the club. He had a very hard time being away from his parents as he didn't want to go to the La Masia where young children were trained to play.

Insist started playing for the senior team in 2004 and was an instant success at the Camp Nou. He played 37 games in his first season. The very first season Barcelona won the La Liga which was a great confidence boost for the player. His playing style continued to develop as he learned his way to the top. He played so well that even the away fans applauded him for his performances.

He has been a very classy player all throughout his career and rarely involves himself in any fight or rash challenge. In 2009 Barcelona again won the La Liga but Iniesta was sidelined for the most part of the campaign due to injuries. He was also mentally weak as his very close friend Daniel Jarque died in 2009 which had a very bad effect on his form. All this was gone when he scored the match-winning goal in 2012 FIFA world cup that saw Spain lift the trophy. He dedicated his winning goal to his friend.

He has been made the captain of the Barcelona team as well as the Spanish National team. He has played with some of the best players on the planet such as Messi, Neymar, Suarez, Xavi, Ronaldinho and much more. He is often underrated as there is Messi present in his team but if he was somewhere else Iniesta could've been applauded even more for the performances that he gives for the team.

His style of play is the attacking midfielder. He is one of the best dribblers of the world and has the ball control that can be only matched by few players. He will be a very good coach as he has had an experience and has worked with such people that most popped can only imagine. He is still playing for the club as well as the country but his age could force him to retire soon.

He is married to Anna Ortiz whom he married in 2012. He has a daughter and a son with his wife who lives together in Barcelona. His salary is an astounding $200000 per week which takes his net worth to $100 million.
