Angel Parker was born on October 17, 1980, in the United States. She was raised in South Orange County, California, where she attended high school and graduated at the age of 16. Following her passion for acting, she enrolled at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She later expanded her training by attending the British American Drama Academy.

Acting Career and Notable Roles

Angel Parker is a talented African-American actress known for her dynamic performances on both television and film. She gained recognition for her recurring role as Tasha Davenport on the Disney XD sitcom Lab Rats. She also portrayed attorney Shawn Chapman in the FX true crime anthology American Crime Story.

Her guest appearances span a wide array of well-known television series, including The Soul Man, Days of Our Lives, Castle, The Closer, Eli Stone, ER, Criminal Minds, and Angel. In the TV series Angel (2000), she played the character Veronica. Additionally, she appeared in the indie film Free Samples as the mother of Joel.

In 2017, Parker was cast in the NBC comedy Trial & Error, playing Heidi Baker, a spirited news reporter covering the fictional Larry Henderson murder trial. The show, inspired by true-crime documentaries like Making a Murderer, featured an ensemble cast including John Lithgow, Jayma Mays, and Nicholas D’Agosto.
