Education

Anna Chlumsky attended the Walther Lutheran High School. She subsequently attended the University of Chicago where she bagged a BA in International Studies in the year 2002. She worked briefly after her graduation with HarperCollins on the movie Imprint, as an editorial assistant as well as with Zagat Survey as a fast-checker. Her lack of satisfaction with these jobs made her attend Manhattan’s Atlantic Acting School where she had a formal tutorial before returning back to acting.

Career

Anna Chlumsky started her career very early as she started modeling at the age of 9. She featured in the 1st and 2nd part of the movie My Girl which were released in the year 1991 and 1994 respectively. Her role in these movies brought her to fame. She was also featured in the movie trading Mom where she co-acted with Sissy Spacek and was released in the year 1994. In the same year, she also featured in Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain. She also acted in many other movies and tv shows between 1995 and 1998. She had a break from acting after this period, during which she attended school and worked briefly.

After a brief break from acting, she was featured as Liz Lemier in the tv show 30 Rock where she appeared in the episode titled The Fighting Irish. She also featured in a Law & Order’s episode in the 17th season as Mary Calvin as well as in an episode in the 20th season as Lisa Klein. She was also featured in the movie Cupid by ABC where she appeared in 4 episodes.

She has since then acted in several movies and tv shows. The movies she acted include The End of the Tour, Bert and Arnie’s Guide to Friendship, The Pill, Civil Unions: A Love Story, My Sweet Misery, The Good Guy, In the Loop, Eavesdrop, Blood Car, Wait and Uncle Buck amongst others. She has also featured in several tv shows including Hannibal, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Army Wives, Veep, White Collar, Three weeks: Three kids, Lights out, Covert Affairs, The Quinn-tuplets, 12 Men of Christmas, Cupid, House Rules, Law & Order, 30 Rock, Eight Days a Week, Early Edition, Miracle in the Woods, A Child’s wish.

In the year 2002, after her University graduation, she made known her relationship with her boyfriend, Shaun, who was a reserve member in the Army. Shaun would later go on to become her husband in the year 2008, on the 8th of March, where their wedding took place in the city of New York. She gave birth to her baby, a beautiful girl, in the year 2013.
